Trellis finished

This is my paint shop (woodworking shop, electrical repair shop, plumbing storage, ...). I paint in the basement workshop because the climate is always good for painting. My blacksmithing shop is an unheated garage. Also, I have more room in the basement. For the worriers out there, I've got a vent to vent out paint fumes.

I like to use Rustoleum for outside products, and Meghan picked Dove Gray. I've got four coats on the bottom legs that go partially into the ground and three coats elsewhere. I used brush-on paint because thin pieces like this waste spraypaint pretty badly. That's OK for my smaller stuff, but I couldn't justify going through cans of spray when one pint of brush-on is more than enough. Also, all that spray would generate lots of fumes, too much for my vent to clear out. I didn't want to spend hours with my filter mask on.

See that plywood square in front? That's actually sitting on a basic dining lazy susan. I didn't feel like walking around and around and around to paint all this, so I spun it instead. That also helped with the lighting, as my shop isn't consistent for something this size.
